A3D is a program to convert any picture into a 3D object.
It's not a program to show 3D image. It's create a 3D object with calculating the height of a point from each pixel color.
In some cases boring or strange object will be created, but sometimes interesting object will be created.
When you convert a picture of a person, you can not wait to display a 3D object on the screen.
You are able to share 3D Picture with Twitter, Facebook, Evernote, Dropbox and more.
* If it's the free version, the ad will be displayed.
* You must be connected to the Internet for several minutes since installing the paid version, because license check is held every time you start the program. You will be able to start successfully even if you are not connected to the Internet later once you clear the license check. However, when you view "Manual", "About A3D" and "Change Log", you must have connected to the Internet.
It's a part of the top of the screen. The full path name of the current directory is displayed with "/..". If you tap here, the parent directory will be displayed.

It's a part of the directory listing of the screen. The directory name is displayed. Number of sub-directory, number of picture files and date of last update is displayed at the bottom. If you tap here, the drectory will be displayed.

It's a part of the file list on the screen. The file name is displayed. Size (in bytes) and date last updated will be displayed at the bottom. If you tap here, a 3D objec will be created with this file and displayed in "3D view".

It will exit "Picture File Manager" without selecting any files and return to "Main (Home) View".
Search Picture
It will recursively search in directory currently being displayed and the sub-directories. It will take time to search with a large number of sub-directories and files. When you search for the root directory (/) in which your system, "Out of Memory Error" may occurr. It's recommended that you search picture with squeezing the directory some extent.
Camera View
It's able to take a picture that is the source of a 3D object. Shooting will be done with tapping on the screen or "Menu > Take Picure".

It will exit "Camera View" without taking any pictures and return to "Main (Home) View".
Take Picture
It will create a 3D object from this picture and display the "3D view". Same results can be obtained even if tapping on the screen.
Preferences
You should set about creating a 3D object primarily. There are settings that are immediately reflected on the screen and that are not reflected on the screen and not to update without "Menu > Refresh View".
3D View > Background Color
You should select a background color. This setting is immediately reflected on the screen.
3D View > Point Size
You should select the size of a point. This setting is immediately reflected on the screen.
3D View > Resolution Scale
Select the scale of the resolution. This setting is not reflected on the screen and not to update without "Menu > Refresh View".
3D View > Height Range
You should select the range of height. If "Absolute value" is selected, "Black" will be setted to "0" and "White" will be setted to "1". if "Relative value" is selected, the minimum value of the color contained in the picture will be setted to "0" and the highest value will be setted to "1". Including black and white picture is the same either option. This setting is not reflected on the screen and not to update without "Menu > Refresh View".
3D View > Height Scale
You should select the scale of height. This setting is not reflected on the screen and not to update without "Menu > Refresh View".
3D View > Reverse Height
You should choose to a reversal of the height direction (axis Z). When you check the check box, a 3D object will be created by inverting the height . This setting is not reflected on the screen and not to update without "Menu > Refresh View".
Other things
How to boot from a picture file
When you tap the picture file from the download of a web browser or file manager application, List of applications that can read an picture file will be displayed. When you select "A3D", "A3D" will be booted with loading the file.
Orientation of the screen
"A3D" is booted at orientation of the horizontal. Screen orientation does not change even if you change the orientation of the devices after boot. Be forced to change the orientation is also not possible after startup.
